Turkish Business Forum Hosts AI Panel in London
LONDON, 18 June 2026 — Turkish Business Forum held its fifth event, “How AI Is Reshaping Organisations, Teams & Decision-Making”, at DasDas Box on Little New Street in central London, bringing together executives, founders, entrepreneurs and technology professionals from across the Turkish business community in the UK for an evening of expert discussion and structured networking.
The headline panel set out to move past the hype and tackle a more practical question: how deeply has artificial intelligence actually penetrated institutions, and what does that mean for the people who work in them? The speakers argued that AI is no longer a matter of experiments or isolated pilot projects, but is now directly reshaping organisational structures, team workflows and leadership decision-making.
Two practitioners, one moderator
The discussion was led by two experts working on the ground. İdil Ünverdi, CGO and Co-founder of Arya-AI UK, and Zafer Çalış, Managing Partner at iKnow Technology, shared first-hand experience spanning corporate AI maturity, the rise of AI agents, organisational transformation and the all-important human factor. The session was moderated by Yağmur Şimşek, Founder of Search ‘n Stuff.

AI agents and the new model of work
A central thread of the conversation was how AI agents are giving shape to new “AI-first” and “AI-native” working models, and how they are changing the daily workflow of white-collar staff. The panellists weighed whether this shift represents a genuine revolution or simply the latest buzzword — and what it means for teams adapting in real time.
The human factor and organisational change
Alongside the technology, the speakers turned to the human side of transformation: change management, leadership, evolving organisational charts and the new roles emerging as AI is adopted. They also examined the most common reasons AI projects fail, pointing to the gap between deploying technology and achieving real transformation.
Startups, investors and the road to 2030
The discussion also explored the growing power of small, agile teams and the shifting expectations of investors in the startup world. Looking ahead, the panellists assessed the biggest AI risks facing organisations on the road to 2030, and debated which topics are currently overhyped and which remain underestimated.
Networking at the heart of the evening
Connection comes first for the Turkish Business Forum. The formal programme opened with registration and a welcome cocktail before the panel, and closed with a business speed-networking session that gave attendees the chance to forge new relationships across the room.

Who was in the room
The event was aimed at C-level executives, founders and entrepreneurs looking to embed AI into their business processes, alongside digital-transformation specialists, team leads, product managers, software developers, and HR and talent professionals seeking to understand AI’s impact on the workforce. Organisers said the goal was to send participants home with actionable insights they could begin applying the very next morning.

Turkish Business Forum continues to convene the Turkish business community in the UK around the issues shaping the future of work, with further events to be announced.
