Turkish Business Forum successfully held its 2nd Workshop & Business Networking event, bringing together Turkey’s leading entrepreneurs, start-up representatives, and industry professionals to explore global e-commerce opportunities and strengthen business networks. The event aimed to provide participants with strategic insights for sustainable international growth, while also creating high-value networking opportunities.

The workshop attracted business leaders from Manchester, Milton Keynes, and other UK cities. Additionally, the UK representative from Zoho attended, engaging in one-to-one meetings with participants, adding significant value in terms of international business connections and experience sharing.

The opening speech was delivered by Osman Turan Bilgiç, who presented “E-Export and E-Commerce Journey from Turkey to Global Markets.” Bilgiç discussed Turkey’s comparative advantages and key sectors, illustrating global marketing strategies via Amazon, eBay, Etsy, and Shopify. Participants also gained insights on brand building, corporate structuring, government incentives, and the roadmap for achieving success in e-export. Interactive case studies provided hands-on experience with real operational examples.

In the second session, Erdem Aykut Kömürcü presented on “Logistics and Order Management in E-Commerce,” detailing international shipping, customs operations, target market import regulations, and order management and fulfilment options for Amazon, eBay, Shopify, and Etsy. Participants also had the opportunity to experience multi-channel (omni-channel) logistics and order management strategies with practical examples.

A key highlight was the networking opportunities. Participants interacted directly with industry professionals, entrepreneurs, and global e-commerce experts.
