TogglePanel: From Identity to Revenue
The main session of the evening, titled “From Identity to Revenue”, featured Digital Communications Expert Dr Murat Dağıtmaç and Digital Strategist Alaattin Çağıl. The speakers explored the critical link between branding and sales performance in the digital era across four key themes:
- Brand strategy and the sales relationship: Is selling possible without a brand? The panel examined how to strike the right balance between advertising spend and brand building, and what foundations a sales-driving brand must be built upon.
- Hook-driven marketing: Why do some brands sell while others merely burn through ad budgets? The discussion focused on brand perception as the “invisible sales engine” that shapes consumer purchasing decisions.
- Brand building and profitability: The connection between brand perception, conversion rates and return on investment was examined, with brand equity presented as the foundation of scalable growth in e-commerce.
- Tactics for the UK market: Google Ads strategies tailored to the British market, LinkedIn B2B sales tactics that Turkish firms commonly overlook, and reporting systems that make advertising investments measurable were shared through concrete examples.
Networking Wrapped Up the Evening
Following the panel, a business speed networking session offered participants a structured format to meet one another and explore potential collaboration opportunities. The event, which drew strong interest from professionals across both the Turkish and British business communities, proved a productive evening where theoretical insight met practical connection.
The Turkish Business Forum will continue to schedule new editions of its “Talks & Networking” series in the period ahead.
