Abdurrahman ITIK

He is a London-based Director of Photography and documentary filmmaker with over 20 years of professional experience. He has worked internationally across advertising, music videos, documentaries, news and feature-length films. Throughout his career, he has filmed award-winning documentaries focused on human stories and migration, working extensively in conflict zones including Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan, Syria, Sudan (Darfur), Palestine and Egypt.

He has served as Director of Photography on documentaries for Discovery Channel and History Channel, and has worked freelance with leading international news organisations such as CNN, APTN, Reuters, DW, ABC and Al Jazeera. For the past two years, he has continued his work through his own production company based in London. In addition, he has over a decade of experience as a professional drone pilot, delivering aerial cinematography for film and commercial projects worldwide.
